Rosé de Savoie is one of the fruity and fresh wines very easy to accompany. Perfect for your grills or any other food put on a barbecue or a plancha, it will make people happy on the terrace from the first rays of sunshine. Take it out of the fridge just before consumption, it will be your drop of freshness in your summer meals and, moreover, scorching. Harvested by hand, it is made from Gamay, a grape variety that is also available in red wine. What makes the difference ? Rosé wine is made from freshly picked and quickly pressed grapes, which gives it its special color. For the red, the grapes are vinified in vats for 7 days before being pressed. If you have the chance to go to the cellar in Jongieux in Savoy - France - when the must (grape juice) begins to ferment, you can taste it and be surprised by its aromas of strawberries and raspberries. Notes that we find, in a less exuberant way, in the wine.
