Jongieux Rouge is made from Gamay, a grape variety present in many French wine regions. 4.5 hectares are devoted to it on our Vineyard in the town of Jongieux in Savoy - France. A wine of pleasure appreciated by all, fruity and light with a nice balance, it will go very well with your hot dishes or cold cuts. We also use this grape for the development of our rosé. The grapes are picked by hand and, depending on the weather and the quality of the grapes, the bunches are sorted before being placed in vats where they ferment for 7 days before being pressed. We intervene as little as possible to keep the berries intact during fermentation and thus obtain the maximum fruity aromas.
